So it Starts with Hours
So it starts with hours,
You think its 8 am
But its actually 10:30
Day goes by
working, bickering, whiling
You think its 10 pm
But its actually 1:30 am
And you find yourself in awe of disbelief,
Where did this tricky bugger go!
Hours turn into days
You think its Monday
But its already Thursday
Or may be Friday.
You are stuck
in your repetitiveness
And can’t distinguish
one day from another
Days turn into weeks
You promise to vacuum
the whole house
On a weekend near month end
And then you happen
to see the date
hanging over the the wallpaper
Of your phone!
You thought it was Wednesday 20th
or something
But its actually the Saturday the 25th
And you think where did the whole week go….!
I’ve been here before too
Hours slipping into days
Days into weeks
Eventually months
and then years slip by in a split …!
Once I thought it was 2008
But it was 2012
To think of it
I’m still somewhere in 2018
May be it starts with minutes….
